Good mental health is essential for our overall well-being and sense of who we are. It helps us to navigate our life journey in a safe and secure way and builds our self-esteem to strive for betterment.
Similar to physical well-being, mental well-being requires proactive care and management. It is also important to seek help if we start to feel overwhelmed in any aspect of our lives. We should also encourage our children and people in our care to speak up and seek help.
We should factor in time in our daily routines to talk to and connect with others who make us feel happier, allow us to relax, and provide a welcome distraction from the daily chores.
Equally important is that we reach out to others around us who may be socially isolated and offer them some of our time and brighten their day.
